The Programme: Automobiles, Lifestyle, Art, Music & Culinary Delights
Around 200 automotive rarities and major special exhibitions celebrating 100 Years of Maserati, 90 Years of the BMW 328, Passione Dino, Héritage Peugeot and Sunbeam Venezia form the centrepiece of the Classic-Gala Schwetzingen. But there is much more to experience this weekend, all set against the unique backdrop of Schwetzingen Palace.
EXPERIENCE MASERATI
To celebrate the anniversary of Maserati automobiles, visitors will have the opportunity to test-drive the latest models. At the ECOmobil-Gala Schwetzingen, you can also get behind the wheel of vehicles from other brands, including Lucid Motors.
Gala Programme
Vintage Dress Up & Dance, live jazz, Elvis and rock ’n’ roll, automotive art, international fashion, lifestyle and a diverse culinary concept make the Classic-Gala an automotive social event for all the senses.
Vintage Dress Up & Dance
On Saturday at 3:00 pm, Laney’s Swing Trio invites visitors to watch and join in the “Vintage Dress Up & Dance” show. Guests are especially encouraged to dress in period fashion, take to the dance floor and become part of the unique atmosphere.
Music & Entertainment
Live jazz, Elvis, rock ’n’ roll and square dancing provide lively entertainment and create the perfect atmosphere among the automotive classics.
Art & Culture
The art exhibition in the South Wing will be presented in a particularly impressive setting on Saturday and Sunday at 11:00 am, accompanied by star tenor Thomas Kiessling.
Fashion & Lifestyle
International exhibitors present Italian leather jackets and premium travel bags, British country fashion, American petticoats, elegant French ladies’ hats and much more.
Culinary Delights in the Palace Gardens
The new culinary concept offers something for every taste: from live sushi preparation and oysters in the VIP area to American-style pulled pork, an Italian bar, Alsatian tarte flambée and many other specialities.
There is also plenty of inspiration for your next journey: the Villeroy & Boch World with its photo spot, Victor’s Hotels bringing a touch of Portuguese holiday flair, the Castle Road and the City of Schwetzingen will present themselves as tourism partners and inspire visitors to discover new destinations.
